ELASTOMERIC CHECK VALVE : ELECTRIC ACTUATED BALL VALVE
Elastomeric Check Valve
- A valve that closes to prevent backward flow of liquid
- Limits the flow of gas to one direction only. Use a check valve between the bubbler and generator to prevent unwanted pressure build up in the generator, and a safety against a low level bubbler. A check valve, such as used on torches, is recommended.
- A valve which will allow water to pass in one direction but will close and prevent flow (backflow) in the opposite direction.
- A check valve, clack valve, non-return valve or one-way valve is a mechanical device, a valve, which normally allows fluid (liquid or gas) to flow through it in only one direction.
- An elastomer is a polymer with the property of viscoelasticity (colloquially "elasticity"), generally having notably low Young's modulus and high yield strain compared with other materials.
- (elastomerically) In an elastomeric way
- (elastomer) any of various elastic materials that resemble rubber (resumes its original shape when a deforming force is removed)
